I have one more run before Saturday's race and I'll likely do it on Wednesday. I ran 3 miles after work today and it's still pretty hot out there. I still ran at a pretty good pace (average 9:40 min./mile) and if I can run that fast on Saturday, I'll be a happy camper. I ran in my new shoes that I've been blaming for my aches and pains and didn't have any issues tonight. I laced them up differently and wonder if that made a difference. I also ran in my new t-shirt that was an early birthday present (similar to this one).
So far the weather forecast for Saturday is mostly cloudy with a low of 53 and a high of 66. I can live with that. Although since forecasts are rarely accurate this far out, maybe I'd be happier if they were predicting rain. In the end, it is what it is and I'll run anyway.
